New here, but not to guns

When I was young, I hunted with my dad's Model 1894 that was fifteen years older than I was. When I was in my thirties, I owned one that was half my age. Now I'm on the shy side of sixty, and I'm swinging back to guns older than me. I recently acquired a 1951 Model 1894, and I have my grandfather's 16ga Model 12 shotgun that will hit the century mark in 2018. I have other guns, but just the two old Winchesters.

Welcome aboard the forum! Always great to hear about the heritage of firearms being kept within the family. I too am drawn to firearms older than I am. The 50's is my favorite timeframe, but I also like firearms from 1873 on as well and own a few.
When ya have the time we sure would like to see some nice photos of your Winchesters in the appropriate sub-forums!!!
