It seems everything negative I read about a .375 is from somebody who doesn't own or shoot a .375. All over the internet. Yet the comments from actual owners say how much they love them. I'll say right now, It is my favorite shooter. I have a model 71 Winchester and a model 71 browning. A 30-30 model 94 and the .375. Hey, that .375 is a beautiful rifle. I reload for it and with iron Buck Horn sights hit 16 oz water bottles at one hundred yards all day. I hit one of those little cups that hold blue cheese for your chicken wings at fifty yards. (filled with some explosive some guy brought to the range, nice) Hey, it's not me ...it's the rifle and the load. The gun is light, feels great. if I could have one gun only...that would be it. So anybody who doesn't like the Winchester model 94 .375 BB has not owned one. 200 gr Sierra's seem the best in mine. There's a metal post at the hundred yard mark and I can bang it all day. It's 2 to 2 1/2 inches wide, regular wire fence post. It's an accurate shooter. I know ammo is hard to come by as well as bullets but as long as they make thirty thirty brass you have brass. So, anybody else have a 375? ;)

Here is my 375 Winchester. Made in 1980 and looks as it did the day it was purchased. Along side it is the case I made especially for it. After all, it deserves it. I apologize for the crappy pics but I am working on it.

I agree with you about taking it into the woods Hairtrigger. I find I am very careful with it even though I try to tell myself it's OK to get a little wear and tear on it.

I just rec'd word from Paul Box. Ballistic Technician at Sierra Bullets. He says they will be making a .375 bullet run again They just don't know when but when they get caught up. Right now they are working 24/6 trying to catch up. I Just posted this to let any 375 users there is a light on the horizon. So keep your eyes open and stock up. I'll post as soon as I see them available. Hey, for a .375 Win user this is a big deal.

Hairtrigger I've not had experience with a .375, but I agree most that wanna devalue or demean anything usually know nothing about the subject at hand...in this case a .375.

Personally, and don't get me wrong, I like a nice scope but to be honest I just don't care for them any more. Give me good old iron sights! My Dad taught me on iron sights. My time in Uncle Sammy's Army I used iron sights, M16, and M14, and to this very day I prefer iron sights. And as you say at 100 yards plinking whatever you wish all day long. i guess you can say I like the KISS method and prefer not to deviate into all those optics and the crap that comes or entails in mounting and such. But to each their own.

Nice Looking Model 94 and that case is fantastic!
