Hello everyone. I'm buying a Winnie 1300 12ga with a 22" turkey Winchoke bbl and I also want to use the gun for home defense. Can I swap-out the 22" bbl for an 18" Defender cylinder bore (I believe the magazine holds four - five shells)? I ask because I don't want to use the turkey bbl without the choke tube and risk damaging the threads. Thank You for your assistance.

You might be able to find an 18" barrel that will fit your mag tube length, most are designed for a longer tube so it might be harder to find than you think....Another option is buying a cylinder or diffusion choke for your 22" barrel. Briley makes them along with many others..
