9422 XTR, rare variation?
Posted: Wed Dec 11, 2013 6:50 pmAny experts out there? I just picked up a 9422 XTR, it looks to be 1980 vintage according to the serial number. Here's the twist on this rifle, the blue and wood finish are right at 100%, it looks to be really unused. BUT, the slide bolt which is normally blued as well, is shiny almost nickel looking. Is this factory?
