Hey everyone I am new to this forum.
I just purchased a new large loop lever for my Winchester 9422, but I can't find any instructions on how to remove the lever and replace it with the large loop. It looks like it's just a pin in, pin out. Am anyone clarify this for me and any other instructions a first timer would want to know before attempting this procedure.
Thanks
Chris

Do not know but it could be as simple as pin out and pin in, however I am sure there is a certain procedure to do so. Sorry I can not help as I do not know, but i'd be willing to bet it isn't hard but more than a pin out and pin in.

Cold War grunt,
Thanks, I was hoping someone would have an assembly manual for the Win 9422. Or at least done this to theirs. |

Where did you get you're large lever?

Got Lucky and Picked it up from eBay. I was serchig for it for years. They came up once or twice but the price was outrageous. I just waited till I was willing to pay. Wound up winning the auction for $176 and I was happy. I’ve seen them sold for over $250, both other times. Funny thing is, I have been looking for a 16 inch Trapper Barrel as well, after about another year, I finally found one and won it for $111 and it was the same guy. He must have a ton of stuff cause he outfitted me with the 16”brass plunger and the 16” Mag tube for another $25. Now I need to figure out how to swap them out.

thank you for the info. eBay is a great place for gun parts. Now I will keep my feelers out for a big loop

I’ll shoot him an email and see if he has anymore large loop levers, if he does I’ll give you his contact info.
