Well here its my first ever..
I just got this the day before yesterday. Took it on trade and I'm sure the other guy thinks he got the better gun. Oh well. I love old guns. I collect mosins and other milsup and 22s. The older the better. The guys at work who were there when i got it said i was either crazy our just stupid. Maybe both. I was alwaystold that value goes out the window with barter. I life it. I'm going out this weekend to take her for a walk. I've also got my eye on and old clay thrower to go with it. Here are some pictures....enjoy

What did you trade for it ? Looks like its in pretty good shape, it would probably sell in my area for 350-400. The model 12's are a great reliable pump, hope you enjoy it !

Oh that nickel steel! There's just nothing like it! Shoot, if I was in the conversation when you sold it, I would have gone $425. Nice one! You know, those older gals are getting more and more harder to find in real good condition. I would have hung on to it. I bought one just a few years ago made in 23. When I took the butt plate off during the cleaning process, I found rolled up and stuffed in the butt stock, about a dozen hunting and trapping license from the 20's! Talk about cool! That was it!

I have a 12ga field grade made in 1914 and when I took off the butt plate I found an old " Sheik" brand condom inside.

I cannot come up with an appropriate comment for either find.
