Model 12 Featherweight
Posted: Thu Dec 26, 2013 9:41 amHey I must admit I am kind of new to the shotgun world. My experience is just using my Police Departments issued Remington 870. My wife got me a Model 12 Featherweight for Christmas. I looked it up I believe it was made in 1961 and I believe it has the 20 inch barrel. My question is first did they not have a front sight? My other question is that when I dry fire it it does not release the pump. Is that on purpose or should I take it to a gun smith. I apologize I am new to a Model 12. Thanks for the help.
