Sharing this picture of my 16 gauge Winchester model 21 made in the late 30's........ 28" IC&M barrels, single selective trigger, splinter fore end and extractors; it was ordered this way. Very effective waterhole dove gun.

I have a 1941 vintage 16 gauge Model 21 Skeet Grade with 26 inch barrels and choked WS1 & WS2. It has the original beavertail forend and a splinter forend made for it by the previous owner, a pretty well known gunsmith. Since it was his gun he took extra pains to match the grain and color of the splinter forend. I much prefer it to the original beavertail. The gun is in 95% or better condition and I enjoy shooting it a great deal. The Model 21s just work! It is quite effective on doves too IF I do my part.

No offense intended but the Model 21 is a shotgun.
