Model 21 2 barrel set
Posted: Fri May 23, 2014 11:38 pmAn example of the outstanding work done by the Winchester custom shop....model 21 12 gauge 2 barrel set originally ordered in 1948 by A&F for an Army Air Corps officer from Mississippi. 30" 3" chambered M&F with 26" 2 3/4" IC&M. Returned to Winchester years later for an upgrade with exhibition wood, B checkering, and no. 6 engraving. John Durkin did the stock work and our own Pauline Muerrle engraved it. All paperwork, letters, A&F order, and Pauline's verification was finally collated. Original, unaltered 21's are getting scarce. We go out on sunny days for some clay targets and jump shooting ducks off the pond. Anytime I take it out of the case at a shoot, a crowd gathers.
