Is this the correct butt plate for a 1894 30WCF Carbine from 1923 ?
Is a 1923 a model 1894 or a model 94 ?

I'll check but pretty sure you should have a checkered steel plate. That looks like a oval trademark composite for an early rimfire or shotgun.

Several '94 butt plates are listed on the Homestead parts site:

My ref book doesnt have a clear enough pic to show which composite butt plate that was used on the '94 with a shotgun butt. I would almost guess your 'circle trademark' plate is correct.
As suggested, see what is offered at homestead, or bobs gun parts, or numrichs. 44 |
