Bought these two S&W pistols back in the mid-80's, just when the 2nd generations came out. The M645 represents S&W's first foray into the .45 auto market...and was on a TV series, carried by Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) on the 3rd and 4th seasons of Miami Vice. The M659 was carried by Larry Zito (John Diehl) on the same series.

Nickel plated... or stainless ?!

I couldn't tell just by lookin and Pop didn't have a lot of info on this one. It's got a super high polish, almost mirror finish on it.

Picked all of mine up at my LGS. It's a small shop, but they can get their hands on just about anything...

My lamo camo Hogue Monogrip came in this afternoon. Got it installed and snapped some new pics. With the checkering and palm swells it feels WAY better than the factory rubber. Kinda easy on the eyes too... :D
