Out for another hunt this afternoon with the 28 gauge Winchester Model 23.Never saw a partridge or a rabbit.All I saw was two porcupines.

Probably right ,Bob.Out this afternoon and took the old Winchester/Cooey Model 84 and a hand full of old paper C-I-L Imperial 28 gauge shells.Did see three porcupines,one just about the smallest I ever saw and a squirrel.
just as I was coming out of the last spot,just at dark ,I did scare a partridge,but was unable to get a shot at it. Never saw a rabbit and I was in some pretty good spots for them. |
