I picked up Lymans 49th edition the other day, it sais Butch`s bore shine is "the stuff"
Anybody used this stuff ? to be honest I`ve never heard of it.

I love the stuff.
Really cleans the bore good,and plastic fowling from the wad dosent stand a chance. Melts it rite away |

It's been around for a few years now. I use it on my bolt action rifles and some shotguns. It does have a very strong ammonia smell. When using "the stuff" make sure you clean your guns outside, or in a ventilated room otherwise the woman will chase after you. I still use Hopees No.9. It has a nice smell to it, reminds me of my old kerosene lanterns. |
