Just wondering if you ever got around to shooting the rifle? If so, how did it work?Have been thinking about getting one of these rifles lately.

I have one made in 1942. It was probably my Dad's first gun. It was made in 1939-1955.
They have a unique history to WW2. Sir Winston Churchill got several thousand on the lend-lease program. The Brits would hide and let the Nazi's run forward. They would come out of hiding and shoot them from the rear with a .22. Search Churchill and Winchester 74. Smith & Wesson revolvers, Colt 1911's, Winchester 94's
