Hello everyone!
I am just a regular guy that likes to shoot and hunt.
The first firearm I ever bought was a sporterized Winchester manufactured U.S. M1917 still in .30-06 back in 1979. It has put more meat on my table and those of my family and friends than I could even begin to remember.
I carried that rifle with me all over the world.
Beside it I also own and shoot a 1965 Model 70 in .30-06 and a Model 70 Coyote in 300 WSM (laminate w/stainless barrel).
About me, hope this doesn't break the rules, I am a believer and follower of Jesus the Christ.
Happily married with three beautiful little girls (my whole family shoots).
I handload for the numerous firearms we own an shoot and we shoot them all.
I restore vintage motorcycles, tinker with rifles and am at peace with life.
I am a former U.S. Army soldier.
Glad to be here at Winchester Owners!

Thanks for the welcome folk!
I misdated my Model 70 .30-06. It is a 1964 and not 1965. Also after rereading my intro I want to add, not trying to be a braggart, that I do own other firearms beside these wonderful Winchesters. Savage's, Marlin's, CZ's, Remington's, Lee Enfield's (No 1's & 4's), Mosin Nagant's (from both Russian/Soviet Arsenals) U.S. Krags, Taurus, Ruger's and a few others too. Like I said I like to tinker and if I don't own them it is difficult to do that. When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk. Tuco
