Hello everyone!
I am just a regular guy that likes to shoot and hunt.
The first firearm I ever bought was a sporterized Winchester manufactured U.S. M1917 still in .30-06 back in 1979. It has put more meat on my table and those of my family and friends than I could even begin to remember.
I carried that rifle with me all over the world.
Beside it I also own and shoot a 1965 Model 70 in .30-06 and a Model 70 Coyote in 300 WSM (laminate w/stainless barrel).
About me, hope this doesn't break the rules, I am a believer and follower of Jesus the Christ.
Happily married with three beautiful little girls (my whole family shoots).
I handload for the numerous firearms we own an shoot and we shoot them all.
I restore vintage motorcycles, tinker with rifles and am at peace with life.
I am a former U.S. Army soldier.
Glad to be here at Winchester Owners!

Will, thanks for joining us.

Congratulations on your firearms holding and family of shooters. Don't get much better than that.

Thank you for your honorable service.

Blessings!

Thanks for the welcome folk!
I misdated my Model 70 .30-06. It is a 1964 and not 1965.
Also after rereading my intro I want to add, not trying to be a braggart, that I do own other firearms beside these wonderful Winchesters.
Savage's, Marlin's, CZ's, Remington's, Lee Enfield's (No 1's & 4's), Mosin Nagant's (from both Russian/Soviet Arsenals) U.S. Krags, Taurus, Ruger's and a few others too.
Like I said I like to tinker and if I don't own them it is difficult to do that.
