Thought you might like to see a very special unfired Winchester model 70 270. I picked this up from a friend who needed money for His grandsons Hospital bill. Its all original, never messed with or had a scope mounted. A couple of minor blems, a very small dent on the checking on the grip, about the size of a very small pea, and some bluing wear on the edges of the sight from being kept in a case, an some bluing wear on the ring of the bolt, the blued one. Other then that, its perfect.. :D

Wow! very nice looking wood. They don't make anything like that anymore !

No they do not. In fact, I have never seen another pre 64 with a stock like this one. Its all original, not a replacement stock, and its absolutely beautiful. Its unfired as well ane will remain that way. I sure would like to find the value of it, since its so differant.
